General
Most romance books are offered in trade paperback format. Unfortunately, for the time being, we are unable to meet the publisher's minimum requirements to request a special print run of hardcover books.
Wherever possible we will always try to request a hardback format, however, it is not always possible.
The books included in the subscription are for adult (over 18) readers unless otherwise stated.
Single-purchase books are books NOT automatically sent to subscribers and offered as individual items.
Subscription books are automatically sent to subscribers unless they opt out of that month’s option.
Yes, we always order extra. Once we receive the books we will make an announcement and add the overstock to our shop page.
All books in stock are shown on our website with a photo of the physical book and edges.
Books that are available for pre-order are shown with a digital mockup.

Subscriptions are billed bi-monthly. Please refer to the upcoming schedule below.

You must submit your request before the 14th of the subscription month you wish to skip.
- Log in to your account and select subscriptions.
- Underneath your subscription, click the button manage.
- Select pause to skip your next shipment.
Please note that cancel requests must be submitted by the 15th of the upcoming subscription month.

The Cover Snob Subscription is bi-monthly. Box subscription months are February, April, June, August, October, and December.
As a thank you for patronage, box subscribers receive an exclusive discount on all books and first access to pre-order single-purchase books.
Yes. We announce all books in advance to allow you enough time to opt-out of that month's book selection. You MUST opt out by the 15th of the month.
Shipping & Damage
There is a 2-3-month production timeline for pre-ordering our sprayed-edge editions. Please refer to the tentative schedule below for pre-orders
(subject to change due to shipping/production delays).

Once your box is packed and prepped, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. This lets you follow your box's journey to your doorstep.
If you ordered an item currently in stock, it will ship within 72 hours unless otherwise stated.
Other than the US, we currently offer shipping to Canada, Europe, and Austria. If you are looking for shipping outside of those options, please email us at hello@coversnob.com.
While we handle and package the boxes with extreme care, we understand that some damage can still happen. Please note that we are a small business and our edges are NOT mass-produced. Each book's edges are digitally printed on the bound book and the tops/bottoms are airbrushed. Please note that we do not cover the following cosmetic damage
- Dents under 2cm (book or jacket)
- Sprayed edge bleeding that is less than 3cm onto the page
- Tears on the dust jacket under 1cm
- Damage on blank pages
- Sprayed bleeding on the book spine that is less than 1cm
We will do our best to resolve damage cases within reason. For all damage reports, please send the following information to hello@coversnob.com
- Photos of the packaging AND the reported damage
- Name and email of the purchaser
- Explanation of the damage
If any bookish items are damaged and/or missing from your package we will try our best to send replacements as supplies last.
Final decisions and resolutions are at the direction of the Cover Snob Team.

Our editions are all hand-crafted. Each book's edges are digitally printed on the bound book and the tops/bottoms are airbrushed. While our vendors take extreme care with our books, mistakes and imperfections happen.
Each case is different but here is a general list of the cosmetic damage we do not cover:
- Dents under 2cm (book or jacket)
- Sprayed edge bleeding that is less than 3cm onto the page
- Tears on the dust jacket under 1cm
- Damage on blank pages
- Sprayed bleeding on the book spine that is less than 1cm
"Imperfect editions" may be seen on our shop page. These books have minor imperfections but are large enough that we have decided to reduce the price. Examples of imperfections are:
- Paint bleed on pages over 3cm
- Torn jackets over 1cm
- Scratched paint on the tops/bottoms of the book larger than 1cm
- Paint splatter on the naked spine over 1cm
We will do our best to resolve damage cases within reason. For all damage reports, please send the following information to hello@coversnob.com
- Photos of the packaging AND the reported damage
- Name and email of the purchaser
- Explanation of the damage

If you pre-order a book it will ship 2-3 months after you’ve ordered.
If the book is in stock, it will ship within 72 hours unless otherwise stated on the shop page.
If you purchase multiple books in ONE order, all items will ship when the last book is available. If you’d like the books to ship as they are available, you will need to purchase them individually.

If you are tracking your box and notice that it is being returned to the sender (Cover Snob), there was an issue with your delivery address. In this case please email our team at hello@covernob.com to alert us of the returned package.
Per our policy, customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping information is correct when placing their order. If the package is being returned due to incorrect information (wrong address, typos, missing information, etc), then the customer will be responsible for reshipment fees. If the package is being returned in error, we will work on identifying a resolution.
If your package has not shipped and you notice an error with your address or you need to update your information, please email us at hello@coversnob.com so we can assist you with updating your account.
We use USPS as our shipping provider. All boxes are picked up by a local post person or dropped directly with a postal representative. Boxes are usually scanned in within 24 hours of pick-up/drop-off.
In some cases, shipping can take anywhere from 5-10 business days. If your box has not arrived after 10 business days please refer to the following:
- Double check your shipping address on your order to ensure there were no typos or missing information.
- Track your package with the USPS tracking number sent to your email.
- If your box is still moving through the network but hasn't been scanned in over 72 hours, please email us at hello@coversnob.com.
- If your box shows delivered but you haven't received it, please give it another 48 hours as your box could have been delivered to a neighbor or miscanned.
If you have done the above and your box is still missing please email us at hello@coversnob.com so we can work on a solution. If we still have inventory, we can arrange to send you another box but will also require information from to to file a USPS lost report.
